My friend, Steve, sent me this photo of a Monster Muley from Utah. This state has some really big bucks showing up this winter and it looks like next years deer hunt will turn out some nice trophies.
February 2010, I attended the Western Hunting & Conservation Expo in Salt Lake City Utah where they auction off a Utah Statewide Mule Deer tag for $260,000.00. The night before the Colorado Statewide Mule Deer tag went for $130,000.00. The Nevada Heritage Statewide Mule Deer tag went for $57,500.00, the Jicarilla Tribe Mule Deer Auction Permit went for $60,00.00 and the Oregon Statewide Mule Deer tag for $24,000.00. As you can see there is some big “bucks” being spent to hunt big deer.
