Topher Topham’s bull shot on the Panguitch Lake late hunt. After spending just shy of a week and looking over alot of elk, we came across this bull. Being the second to last day and a storm moving in I decided he was a bull I would like to take. We hunted hard and had alot of fun. Thanks to my dad, father in law, brother inlaws, and Jake and Jedd Bess of Timber Mountain Outfitters.

Taylie always has a wonderful time fishing with her grandpa. This trip she was getting a little bored so grandpa put a worm on her hook and let her cast to her hearts content. On the 4th or 5th cast she hooked on to something a little bigger than she had ever had on a pole before. This large mouth was just shy of 5 lbs, and was caught at Sand Hollow reservoir in Southern Utah.
This was a big step for me. The first Merriam Turkey tag that I had ever purchased and an 8 year old son that was dead set on being there with me every step of the way. This was a hunt for the two of us and on the second to last day of the hunt I got lucky and called us in a turkey. My son had hunted in the past with me, but was never there when I was fortunate enough to take any animal. This year was great, having him there with me was an experience that I will never forget.
Thanks for your help Tyler.
Merriam Turkey was taken in Southern Utah with an over the counter late spring tag.
My name is Brenna Haggy, I am 8 yrs old. I shot my first deer with a crossbow while hunting behind my house in South Vienna, Ohio in November of 2010.
I was very excited. I was shaking so bad, I couldn’t believe I hit her but down she dropped. My dad had a tear in his eye and I couldnt wait to run to the house to tell my Mom. She was so proud of me.
Thanks, Brenna Haggy
This year I was guiding with my friend Bryan Carter on Elk Ridge unit in south eastern Utah, when we came across a hunter by the name of Lynn Congdon who had drawn a limited entry elk permit. He came on this hunting trip alone from his home in the state of Pennsylvania. He also came one month early to scout. Lynn was looking for a trophy elk, as you can see he is not a young man but a very tuff one. He took this great bull and packed out the entire elk by himself.
Very nice bull Lynn!!
